Port Logan is a planned fishing village on the Rhins of Galloway, a curve of houses behind a sandy beach with a little bell tower and old pier. Its curiosity is the Logan Fish Pond, a Victorian tidal pool cut into the rock where fish were once kept and can still be fed today. The subtropical Logan Botanic Garden is just up the road.
