Glenwhan is a hillside garden above Luce Bay near Dunragit, carved out of open moorland from the late 1970s and now grown into a lovely tangle of lochans, azaleas and tender plants that enjoy the mild coast. The views down to the bay are worth the climb. Seasonal opening with an admission charge; Stranraer station is about 9km to the west.
