Morar is famous for its Silver Sands, the dazzling white beaches that fringe the coast between the village and Arisaig. Behind it lies Loch Morar, the deepest freshwater loch in Britain and home to its own monster legend, Morag. The village and its station sit on the Road to the Isles just short of Mallaig.
