Arisaig strings along the Sound of Arisaig on the Road to the Isles, a good base for the white-sand beaches that run north towards Morar. In summer, boats sail from the village out to the Small Isles of Eigg, Rum, Muck and Canna. It’s on the West Highland Line, with the station just above the houses.
