Andy Race Fish Merchants is a long-established fish business and traditional smokehouse on Mallaig harbour, known for oak-smoked kippers, haddock and salmon done the old way. Mallaig is one of the west coast’s busiest fishing ports, and the harbour, the station and the Skye ferry all sit a short walk apart. Worth checking they’re open before making a special trip.
