‘Hooky’ is best known for its beer: the Hook Norton Brewery, a tall Victorian tower brewery still working by steam and gravity, stands at the edge of the village and runs tours and a shop. The village itself rambles across the ironstone hills of the north Cotswolds, with a good church and several of the brewery’s own pubs to end a walk in.
