Fulking is a spring-line hamlet tucked under the South Downs escarpment, with the Shepherd and Dog beside the springs that once washed the village’s sheep. Devil’s Dyke rises on the ridge above, an easy climb straight from the village. Fishersgate is the nearest station, about 6km south.
