Rushfields is a farm shop, plant centre and cafe at the foot of the Downs near Poynings, stocking local produce and plants. It’s open to the public as an everyday shop-and-cafe stop, well placed if you’re walking the Downs around Devil’s Dyke. Hassocks station is about 5km to the north-east.
