West Blatchington Windmill
Local highlightWest Blatchington Windmill is an unusual hexagonal smock mill rising straight out of a group of tiered barns in Hove — most smock mills are octagonal. John Constable painted it in the 1820s. It’s run as a small volunteer museum, open inside on selected Sundays in season. Aldrington station is about 1km to the south.
