Thatched cottages and a red-brick Victorian bridge mark this Thames-side village. The six-arched bridge, once a toll crossing, still carries the road over to the Barley Mow, the thatched inn on the south bank that Jerome K. Jerome wrote up in Three Men in a Boat. Dorchester-on-Thames lies a short way downstream, and Culham station is about 1.5km off.
