Wool town with a curving High Street and market hall.
Chipping Campden’s High Street curves for the best part of a mile, lined with golden stone houses that grew rich on medieval wool. Halfway along stands the pillared Market Hall, built in 1627 by Sir Baptist Hicks to shelter market traders. St James’ Church at the top is one of the great Cotswold wool churches. Honeybourne station is about 7km north-west.
