Bucklebury spreads out along Bucklebury Common, a long ridge of ancient oaks and grazed heath rather than a tight village core. There’s a Norman church down towards the Pang and old brick-and-tile cottages scattered among the woods. Much of it is open to walk, with paths leading off the lanes into the trees.
