The Wells & Walsingham Light Railway steams four miles across the fields from Wells-next-the-Sea to the pilgrim village of Little Walsingham. Built on the old branch trackbed, its 10¼-inch track is the longest railway of that tiny gauge in the world. The trip takes about half an hour each way. Paid entry, running spring to autumn.
