The Hot Bothy is a wood-fired sauna close to the water at Windermere Marina Village, though there is no lake access straight from the sauna. You cool off in the cold plunge and outdoor shower, and anyone who wants a swim walks round to the far side of the marina, entirely at their own discretion. Once a month it also runs the Lake District Recovery Club, a relaxed 5km run followed by sauna and plunge.
