Two wood-fired saunas, a hot tub and a café dug into the shingle beside Folkestone Harbour Arm

Billed by Sea Scrub as the UK’s largest beach spa, the Folkestone site opened in March 2026, built into the shingle at the foot of the Harbour Arm. You choose between a Scandinavian sauna for up to 16, with a panoramic sea window, and a smaller shepherd’s hut sauna built in Kent. Both are wood-fired. Afterwards there’s a communal cold plunge tank, a hot tub and the Channel itself.
