The ruins of a Victorian firebrick works stand on the cliff above a cove on the north coast, the beehive kilns and chimney still upright and slowly falling apart. It’s a scheduled monument, reached on foot along the coast path from Bull Bay. The ruin is open but unguarded, so take care among the crumbling brickwork above Porth Wen itself.
