The grandest of Cheltenham’s Regency spa buildings, a colonnaded pump room built in the 1820s at the heart of its own park and lake. On open days you can still taste the spa water from the fountain inside, though the building is often booked for events, so check ahead. The surrounding Pittville Park is open access. Cheltenham Spa station is about 3km south-west.
