Horsey Gap Seals
Local highlightApproximate location — this spot is pinned to the nearest village, so the exact point may be a little way off.
Come between about November and January and the dunes at Horsey Gap fill with grey seals hauling out to pup — hundreds of them, watched from roped-off paths along the low clifftop so the animals aren’t disturbed. Wardens are usually on hand at the busiest weekends. It’s open access and free; the Nelson Head is the pub to know nearby, and Winterton Dunes lie just down the coast.
