The owners built the Green Goddess from reclaimed timber, including wood from a 50-year-old whisky distillery washback, and insulated it with canvas and sheep’s wool. It sits on Blackwaterfoot beach, about 400 metres along the sand from the Shiskine golf course car park, facing Kintyre across Drumadoon Bay. Cool off in the sea or one of two whisky-barrel plunges. Fourteen fit inside, with a warm changing room.
