Peter Scott's founding wetland bird reserve.
Sir Peter Scott founded this wetland reserve on the Severn in 1946, and it’s often called the birthplace of modern wildfowl conservation. Hides and trails look out over pools where thousands of ducks, geese and waders gather, and each winter Bewick’s swans fly in from the Arctic to feed. Paid entry, with a cafe and family activities. Cam & Dursley station is about 4km away.
