A rambling Grade II listed inn on the quay at Burnham-on-Crouch, with a wooden jetty and window seats looking straight out over the moored yachts. This is the sailing town’s waterfront pub, with rooms and food, and it’s at its best in summer when the river is full of boats. Burnham-on-Crouch station is about 1km up the hill.
