The Wishing Well takes its name from a real well, still there inside the restaurant of this rambling old pub at Dyke, a village just north of Bourne on the fen edge. The building was once a row of three shops, knocked into one over the years; it does home-cooked food and cask ales, with rooms and a campsite behind. Spalding is the nearest station, roughly 14km east.
