An unpretentious country local in Southrepps, the Vernon Arms keeps its cask ales well and cooks straightforward home food. Nothing grand, but warm and welcoming a short way in from the north Norfolk coast. Gunton station is only about 1.5km south, which makes it a rare Norfolk pub you can reach without a car.
