Three Horseshoes, Breedon on the Hill
This pub began life as a farrier’s, and at around 250 years old it kept the shoeing name when it took up serving drinkers. It stands in Breedon on the Hill, in the National Forest country near the Derbyshire border, below the limestone hill topped by the village’s old hilltop church. Open to customers.
