A stone-flagged pub with open fires beside the beck at Kettlewell, the Kings Head keeps a good range of Dales ales and fills up with walkers off the surrounding fells. It’s one of the village’s handful of pubs — the Bluebell is close by if you’re pub-crawling. No station within reach, so come by car or along the Dales Way.
