On the green at Arncliffe in quiet Littondale, the Falcon is a wonderfully old-fashioned inn where the beer is still drawn from a jug in the back room. It stood in as the original Woolpack in Emmerdale’s early years and later cropped up in All Creatures Great and Small. Food is limited — this is a drinkers’ pub first. No station nearby; Littondale is a hushed corner of the Dales.
