The Butchers Arms is a country pub at Llanddarog, east of Carmarthen and handy for the National Botanic Garden of Wales. It has a good local reputation for its cooking. The village also has the older thatched White Hart Inn, with its own brewery, so there’s a choice within a short walk. Carmarthen station is about 9km west.
