The Boatside Inn sits at Warden, just below the point where the North and South Tyne come together, beside the old bridge into Hexham. It’s a riverside pub with a garden made for a summer pint, and its name recalls the ferry that once crossed here before the bridge was built. Hexham station is about 3km away.
