After a walk up Weardale, the Black Lion in Wolsingham is a good bet for a pint. It’s a friendly local with a rotating range of real ales and a shelf of CAMRA awards to show for it, and does food too. Wolsingham station is only a few hundred metres away, so it’s an easy one to reach by the Weardale line.
