Tucked down a narrow close off Dumfries High Street, the Hole i’ the Wa’ Inn has been pouring pints for over three hundred years, and Robert Burns was among its regulars during his years in the town. The name nods to the old gap in the wall you once passed through to reach it. Dumfries station is a short walk away.
