Loch Arthur is a Camphill community farm near Beeswing, where adults with learning disabilities live and work, and it runs a genuinely lovely farm shop. There’s an organic creamery turning out award-winning cheeses, plus a bakery, butchery and cafe all under one roof. Well worth the short detour off the A711 south of Dumfries for the bread and cheese alone.
