Lymm Dam is a wooded reservoir right on the edge of Lymm, made by damming the brook where the road crosses the valley. A circular path of about a mile and a half runs around the water and down through the leafy dingle below, making an easy, pretty walk close to the village centre. Popular with dog-walkers and joggers, and lovely in autumn.
