Sandringham is the royal family’s Norfolk country house, and its sixty acres of gardens open to visitors through the main season — glades, lakes, mature specimen trees and a newer topiary garden added in 2023. The ground-floor rooms open too when the family is away. Paid entry, gardens from spring into autumn. Kings Lynn station is about 11km south-west.
