The Dabbling Duck owes its name to the ponds it overlooks, and its survival to the village. Closed as the Rose and Crown and lined up for housing, it was bought back by two local farmers in 2006 and reopened as Great Massingham’s pub. Local ales, log fires and a garden by the water, with rooms upstairs if you want to stay.
