Loseley Park centres on an Elizabethan house built in the 1560s by the More family, just south of Guildford. The draw is the walled garden, divided into themed rooms including a well-known rose garden planted to an old design. It opens seasonally on limited days, so check ahead; paid entry. Farncombe station is about 2km south.
