Mighty Oak’s flagship is Oscar Wilde, a dark mild that CAMRA crowned Champion Beer of Britain in 2011 — a win that let this small Maldon brewery expand. There’s a shop and tap on site if you want to try it at source, and it makes a decent stop after a wander round Maldon itself, down on the Blackwater.
