One of the best-known single malts in the world, Glenfiddich has run at Dufftown since its whisky first flowed on Christmas Day 1887, and it’s still owned by William Grant’s descendants five generations on. Tours run from a straightforward walk-round to the Malt Master tasting, all paid. Keith station is about 15km to the north-east.
