Carr Taylor is one of England’s older vineyards, first planted at Westfield in 1971 and an early maker of traditional-method sparkling wine. There’s a free self-guided trail through the vines and a shop where you can taste and buy. Doleham station is about 3km to the east, though Hastings is the more useful rail link.
