A restored horsebox sauna and a ten-person barrel sauna on Hastings Pier, both looking out to sea
Save this place
Zoya Jordan and Nell Monck brought Samphire Sauna to Hastings Pier in spring 2023, after earlier pitches in the countryside and outside the De La Warr Pavilion in Bexhill. There are two wood-fired saunas facing the sea, the original restored horsebox for four and Spindrift, a redwood barrel for ten. You cool down in the cold plunge pool and cold showers on site. Walk-in spaces go up on a board at the pier entrance.
