St Nicholas, Stanford on Avon
St Nicholas sits beside Stanford Hall on the Leicestershire border, little altered since it was built in the first half of the 14th century. Its great draw is the medieval stained glass — a set of the twelve apostles among glass ranging from about 1330 to the 16th century — along with monuments to the Cave family of the hall. Open to visitors.
