The parish church of Castle Combe holds a rare survivor: a faceless medieval clock, probably made by a local blacksmith in the late 15th century, which still runs and strikes the hour on a bell in the tower. The rest is a good Perpendicular wool church. Open to visitors; Chippenham station is about 9km to the south-east.
