Christ and Our Lady, Armathwaite
A small, plain chapel above the River Eden at Armathwaite, rebuilt in the 17th century — one low room, and about as unshowy as a church gets. It stands just outside the village and is open to look round, an easy pause if you’re already exploring Armathwaite.
