Shell Island, or Mochras, is a low tidal peninsula near Llanbedr with wide sands known for the number and variety of shells that wash up. It’s run as a large campsite with pay-to-enter access, reached by a causeway that floods around high tide — the road closes for a couple of hours each side, so check the crossing times before you go.
