Reef Beach — Traigh na Beirghe on the map — is a mile of pale sand backed by wildflower machair on the Valtos peninsula, west Lewis. It’s a peaceful spot, with a small campsite behind the dunes and grazing sheep for company. Follow the B8011 towards Uig, then the single-track road out to Valtos and Kneep.
