Out on the far west coast of Lewis near Uig, Abhainn Dearg is the most westerly distillery in Scotland, distilling single malt by hand since 2008. It’s a genuinely small, remote operation off the B8011 — visits are by arrangement rather than through a slick visitor centre, so get in touch before you turn up.
