Just south of Mangersta beach, a run of towering sea stacks and cliffs takes the full force of the Atlantic on the west coast of Lewis. A clifftop path out beyond Ardroil brings you to them — keep well back from the edges, especially in any wind. There’s no signage and no barriers, so watch your footing.
