A remote white-sand beach facing the abandoned island of Scarp, reached only on foot from Hushinish at the far west end of Harris. There’s no road to it — you walk in over the headland from the Hushinish car park, maybe half an hour — which keeps it about as quiet as a beach gets. Gorgeous, and often deserted.
