Portmahomack Beach
Local highlightPortmahomack has a sheltered, west-facing sandy beach right by the village — unusual for the east coast, and one reason it’s a calm spot for a swim or a paddle. Seals often bask offshore. It’s near the tip of the Tarbat peninsula, so it pairs well with a run out to Tarbat Ness and its lighthouse. Fearn station is around 12km away.
