Glenmorangie Distillery
Local highlightGlenmorangie, on the A9 just north of Tain, is one of the best-known Highland malts, and it runs its spirit through the tallest stills in Scotland — over 26 feet — which is part of what gives the whisky its light character. There’s a visitor centre with tours and tastings. Tain station is a couple of km away.
