A restored medieval kirk on the Black Isle shore at Resolis, Kirkmichael shelters a set of rare carved memorial stones and two family mausolea. Saved and reopened by a local trust, it’s open to visitors and looks north across the Cromarty Firth. Tain station is about 8km to the east, across the water.
